Got a voicemail after I canceled that feature

I had canceled voicemail on my landline days ago.  I woke up this morning with a voicemail from the Phone Co.  Why did I get that and how can I clear it.

Hey there! How did you remove the Voicemail feature? Was this through an Xfinity agent? And do you currently have a new plan or legacy plan?

Remove via an Xfinity agent.  Just started my plan the end of July.

I did as you ask and thought I would have heard back.  Concerned that I gave info that I should not have given.

As of now, there is no accepted solution!  Online agents do not seem to understand my issue.  I am going to my local store this week and see if they can help.  I still have the message on my portable landline phone and do not know how to clear it.  My journey with Xfinity has not started well!

user_ie85mh - Thank you for choosing Xfinity and for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly sorry to hear about your experience—this isn’t the feeling we want you to have. We’d really appreciate the opportunity to make things right and support you in any way we can. I understand you mentioned stopping in, have you had a chance to visit one of our stores yet?
