Disable Voicemail Permanently - Xfinity Won't Comply

Months ago we requested that voicemail be permanently disabled and were told that feature would be disabled.  For several months it seemed to be disabled, but now it is once again active and of course, there is no way to disable it via the website, and Xfinity has made it virtually impossible to speak to a human being.

This is unacceptable, and if Xfinity can't resolve this issue in a timely manner we will look elsewhere for landline service.

Thank you for reaching out to us here @user_2fdb40. If you are still having issues with removing the voicemail service from your service send us a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

Message sent. I won't say 'thank you' because if Xifinity would simply allow paying customers to easily speak with human beings to resolve these issues we would not be as frustrated and angry with the utter disdain we are being shown
