Delete voicemail files via finite.com?
Generally we have been very pleased with our Comcast Xfinity Internet, television and phone services over the year. Yes, you pay a premium but we have found Comcast to be exptrememly reliable with strong service standards in the infrequent times when we needed assistance. However…
We used to be able to go to a voicemail page online to listen to, save and/or delete the actual voicemail file. Now we just get emails with a vmail attachment, which led us to forget to actually call in to our vmail for maintenance. We recently discovered that our Xfinity vmail box was full. It is possible to delete all the messages at once, but if we want to review messages in an efficient manner before bulk deleting, there is no way to “see” them in the customer account view. Why are we no longer able to manage vmail from the online account vs. only through phone activity? Now we have to manage the email notifications about vmails AND then call in to delete the actual files. Definitely a step backwards, Comcast! Please bring back the “Voice” online account tab!

I can truly appreciate wanting to have our Connect app back, @user_ed07a4 . It sure did make life a lot more simple for those of us with a home phone and voicemail! I will be happy to pass the word up to the appropriate people with your concerns.
As for deleting all the voicemails at once, I am not aware or able to locate anything that will allow this to happen now. I have decided to forward my home phone to my cell and manually delete my voicemails there.
Xfinity Mobile customers can have up to 20 voicemails in their inbox on Android phones and up to 40 voicemails in their inbox on iPhones. Messages can be saved or shared before upgrading or deactivating a phone, which deletes all current voicemail messages. All my voicemails are readable too.
