Caller id not working on tv

Countless calls and nobody can figure out why my caller doesn't appear on my tv screen.

This happened when I changed my service plan and comcast took away my land line by accident.

After they got my landline turned back on, it hasn't worked correctly since

I've noticed that caller id does show up on the tv if the caller leaves a voicemail, but not when the phone rings. I do have a caller id box and it's there, but so much more convenient when you see it on the TV screen,  you dont have to get up grab your glasses and see whos calling. This [Edited: "Language"] and I am paying for this service and not getting it. Any insight into the matter will be appreciated

Uh oh, thank you for letting us know @ersy!

We can certainly check to see if the billing code for the Caller ID TV somehow got removed during the change of service. Please use the following instructions to send us a direct message, so we can check:

(Full credit to @BruceW for this excellent explanation and @Again for the picture!)

"Search for Xfinity Support" won't work. To send a "Direct Messaging" message to Xfinity Support:

 • Click "Sign In" if necessary

 • Click the "Direct Messaging" icon:

or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

 • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

 • The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 •  - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 •  - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

 • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

 • Press Enter to send it
