Caller I’d not appearing on tv acreen

Caller ID is not appearing on TV screen. I have tried using Xfinity assistance, but it is useless and won’t connect me to an agent.

Hi there, @user_f26473. We are happy to help with the Caller ID on your TV. I love the option of not having to get up to see who is calling! Can you please check the cable box to ensure that the setting is turned on? On the remote, press the Xfinity Button. Go to the Settings icon (looks like a gear), go to Preferences, and then notifications to ensure Caller ID is on. If it is already on, please toggle the option to Off then back to On. Please let me know if these steps help.

I went to notifications and there isn’t a line with caller ID.  It does show Xfinity voice: on.  I turned that off, then on and no luck. It does indicate “all notifications: on”.

Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon at the top of the page (looks like a text bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
