Call Waiting has never worked for me
Whenever someone is on the phone at my home, any incoming phone call goes to voicemail immediately. I have looked through the information published online (which is sorely lacking) and also tried to use the support chat robot but it kept answering my question as if I had no dial tone, (ChatGPT might be an improvement for your AI Agents). Let me know if you can help me, but please do not answer if you think I am telling you I have no dial tone. The phone works just fine, just when someone calls in and we are on the phone we do not get a Call Waiting notification, and the person goes directly to voicemail.
This has nothing to do with dial tone(just reiterating because the AI Robot seems to think that this is related), it only has to do with incoming calls going directly to voicemail if we are on the phone.
You really have a tag for #customerservice #terrible #annoyed? Well, at least you understand the limitations.

Good afternoon user_j79oaq. We can certainly look into your call waiting concern. I will need some additional information in order to best assist.
Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
