Arris T25 Cable/Voice modem not showing caller ID

Hi........Ever since I upgraded to the T25 Cable/Voice modem it's been acting up everyday. 

 

Meaning that it shows the name and number on my phones but everyday, at least once a day, it shows nothing.  No name, no number, no nothing when my phone rings.

 

So I turn it off for about 10 seconds and then turn back on and the caller ID works again. 

 

I do this everyday to the T25 at least once a day to get the name and number to show up.  Why is this happening, this isn't normal?

I'm having basically the same problem. Caller ID on my home phones has been intermittent for a while, and I just realized it may have started when I upgraded to an Arris T25 from my no-longer-supported legacy modem. I haven't done any power cycling; since the problem is intermittent for me, it probably wouldn't have given me a conclusive answer.

Hi, Gamer20 and jimfenton. So sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for bringing this to our attention. We want to help! Does resetting the modem or resetting the main phone base seem to be what provides a temporary fix?

Thanks for your response. I just fixed a wiring problem in the house, and need to see if that has fixed the problem. Will try to update this post in a week or so.

Caller ID does seem to be working consistently after correcting the wiring problem.
