new plans

Xfinity took a big jump in the broadcast tv fee and other fees. Is there any good deal for longtime customers without the need for a cable box. Thanks

@1kgigout Thanks for adding a post to the community. You reached out just in time. The new year did bring in updates to the fees, but also new TV packages. They all include the first box now, so that is the first step in savings. The fees are included in the cost upfront too, meaning the price is the total. Check out the new line ups here https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup-bundles, by adding your address and clicking the button that says you're moving there. That will show you all the channels to confirm what you need. Once you know what your home needs to keep the channels you love, sign in on the top right, and it will show the latest promotions, all with no contract. If you have any trouble adding one let us know.

@1kgigout - Absolutely, great question! We know changes like this can feel overwhelming, so we want to make things as simple and beneficial as possible. The new TV plans are available to both new and existing customers. Every plan now includes our award‑winning voice remote and the X1 4K TV Box at no extra charge. And if you bundle with Xfinity Internet, you’ll also get a $10/month multi‑product discount for each line of business (for example Xfinity Internet), helping you save even more! If you have any other questions or want help finding the best fit, I’m here for you!

I have the 600 mb speed and 125 tv channels. I hate the broadcast tv fee that keeps going up so much when you can get those OTA. I dont see anything that actually shows that 42.00 added fee for the local broadcast channels. I was thinking about getting the new 4k box. I do have a 4k tv but there are only a few things xfinity shows in 4k. My actual contract is not up till Sept. My new updated price after they raised some fees is now 177.00. Will I be able to see the new pricing if I go to the store. I am in the Houston Tx area.

@1kgigout I switched from popular to plus a few weeks ago for TV. Both 125 channels. Plus is cheaper (from what I can tell). And you get more DVR space. I did need to get a new 4k box so I signed up at a store. My account currently says I have the worst TV plan, but reps have verified I have the correct one on the backend. I'm also questioning if I'm getting the full 300 hours of DVR or only 150 that matches the incorrect plan showing up on my account. Regardless, the estimated total bill is less by a few dollars per month than the old TV plan 🤷‍♂️
