Xfinity Now Misrepresentation

I ordered the Xfinity NOW service and specifically asked whether I could split the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to accommodate the devices in my home. I was assured that this would be possible. However, upon setup, I discovered that the software is locked and does not allow band splitting, making the service unusable for my needs.

I subsequently spoke with six different representatives, five of whom were unable to assist me. I spent approximately five hours on the phone before a final representative informed me that splitting the bands is not possible with Xfinity NOW, as it is the most basic service offered. As a result, I upgraded to Xfinity Residential immediately and canceled the Xfinity NOW service within a few hours of receiving the equipment. Despite this, I was charged $30 for a service that did not function as promised and was active for less than 24 hours.

Because I was provided inaccurate information at the time of sale and the service did not perform as represented, I expect a full refund. The service was sold to me under false technical pretenses.
