Super high latency/Jitter when gaming, or watching content.

Hello all, i have been experiencing terrible jitter/latency whenever i game or do anything under load. I have tried every at home solution i could, i exchanged modems. i replaced my ethernet cable. i tried unplugging and replugging my modem, i have reset it many of times. i called the customer service line and actually got in contact with one of the techs, they ran a test and... it didn't work. my internet is still unusable whilst playing games/doing anything besides web browsing. please somebody help. my plan speed is 300mbps.
