Recovery email problem
My mother has been using the primary email for years but my father was the primary account holder. The recovery email on that account was my father’s old aol account. I also had my mobile number as a backup recovery method but recently attached it to my own email which apparently removed it from my mother’s account. She received an email to add a new mobile number to her account but while attempting to do so xfinity wanted to send a reset code to the old email account
which has been closed due to inactivity since my father’s death 7 years ago. I called xfinity and talked to support and then somebody from the security team who wanted to talk to the primary account holder which is not possible since he is deceased. I was then sent to an account ambassador who said that she submitted a ticket to change the account name to mine since I was already listed as an account manager. I was told to expect a response within 72 hours but that time has passed.Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
