No coax outlet

Recently received my modem to connect Wi-Fi and realized there are no coax outlets in my new home , we do have a Ethernet outlet tho , I read online u can get adapters , just making sure that would work ?

Hello user_l3z2mf, thank you for reaching out on Xfinity Forums. Our modem would need a coax outlet as that is how the signal is sent to modem. If you don't have one we could schedule a tech to come out and install one for you. This is typically a $100 charge. The adaptors you are referring to would not work in this scenario as our signal is not being sent through those ethernet outlets.
