I did not create this forum account. How do I delete it?

I did not create this forum account. How do I delete it?  If Xfinity created it for me I find that to be a violation of my privacy. I want it deleted and or disabled.

user_g12vkm Thank you so much for stopping by our Xfinity community forums. If you are a current Xfinity customer, your Xfinity ID provides access to our Xfinity forums automatically as an additional support option. This can not be removed since it is attached to your Xfinity ID as an active customer. None of your personal information is available, however, in your forum profile. If you are not a current customer, you cannot use your Xfinity forums account, and it will be automatically disabled after some time of inactivity.

My forum email address is not attached to my Xfinity ID  , it's an old one . Had to change it after a data breach a few years ago .  If you will not change it , I would like to remove it and start over again with my correct email address .  Right now I have to come here to check my notifications .  Additionally , when I tap on a topic on the forum homepage , nothing happens .

Please help .

I get signed in without entering my ID  , so it will never go to "register " ?

Hello, Chrissy15221. Thank you for reaching out.  As of June 3, 2024, customers can't create new Xfinity Email (comcast.net) accounts. If you have an existing Xfinity Email account, you can continue to access and use your existing Xfinity Email account as you do today through the Xfinity Email website. You may be prompted to log in to your account using your Xfinity ID and password.

In addition:

- You can create up to six secondary Xfinity IDs on your Xfinity account in addition to the primary user ID.
         a) Secondary user IDs will continue to have separate sign-in credentials.
         b) New secondary Xfinity IDs won't have an Xfinity Email account associated with them.
- You can use third-party email accounts to manage your Xfinity account.
- You can continue using your Xfinity Email address or Xfinity ID to log in to your account on xfinity.com and the Xfinity app.

If you transfer your Xfinity account to a new address, your email account won’t change. If you disconnect all of your Xfinity services, you can continue using your Xfinity Email account for as long as you remain an active user. I hope this information helps. Please let us know what questions you have.
