I accidently created the community forum account thinking I was signing in to my email.  Please delete this account.  I am unable to find out how to do it myself-there is no unsubscribe option that I can find.

Thank you.

Due to system limitations, we are unable to delete profiles from the forums. However there are 2 options:

  1. You can go into your profiles and uncheck all notifications. This will stop you from getting emails from the forums and allow you to come back later if you need assistance.
  2. However, you can request to have your account blocked or you can turn off all notifications.

They tricked me into signing up, thinking I was signing into my email account. I want to delete this account.

@user_sb3vy4

How did we trick you into signing up for the Help & Support Community Forums where you assumed you were signing in to Email?

If you're a new customer, you won't have a comcast.net email address because Comcast stopped giving out new email addresses in June of last year.  No one told you to "go here" this is where your email is.

No one tricked you, especially no one from the Help & Support Forums.  We didn't even know you existed until you posted here.

We can't remove you, but if you click on your avatar in the upper right corner next to the bell and then click on Profile Settings and then the Notifications & Preferences tab, and make sure that Email and Platform are greyed out, you won't get any notifications from here from now on.  Make sure you scroll to the bottom and click on Save Preferences.

Sorry, but we don't accept responsibility for the mistake you made.

I am not a Comcast Employee.
I am a Customer Expert volunteering my time to help other customers here in the Forums.
We ask that you post publicly so people with similar questions may benefit from the conversation.
