Activation

So I recently received my xfinity modem, I downloaded the app, plugged everything in, followed the steps on app, but I get to a part where it asks me if my modem is blinking a white light yet, but honestly I presume the color to be slightly yellow more than it is white, the problem I guess I have is I don't know if the color is supposed to look slightly yellow and is considered white or it in fact is yellow and the light is not connecting
