Xumo TV Streaming Box Questions and comments

I have the Xumo TV Streaming Box from Xfinity and here are my questions and comments on various things....

1) What's Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity?

makes it seem like it's only available for new Xfinity Internet customers and not existing or all Xfinity Internet customers.


2) Xumo Stream Box activation process overview

actually seems to be talking about the Xi6 Flex and not the XiOne Flex/Xumo as it has a diagram of the Xi6 and also mentions the non-existent USB-C connector which the XiOne has.  The power indicator on the XiOne is on the bottom and not the top.


3) Xumo Stream Box from Xfinity accessibility options

Settings icon on the remote which is non-existent on the Xfinity version of the remote.


4) Xumo Stream Box error codes and messages

Error Code(s) EOS019, EOS013, EOS015, EOS027 references a Standby button that does not exist unless they mean the Power button.   


5) Pair and program your Xfinity Voice Remote

"If you have an XR100 Remote (Xumo Stream Box customers) and are still having issues, perform a factory reset:

1. Simultaneously press and hold the back (←) button and the add (+) button until the light at the top of the remote turns green.
2. Press 9, then 8, then 1.
3. Wait until the light at the top of the remote turns to red. Once this is complete, you can retry pairing your XR100 Remote."
Where is this light on the remote turns green and red is located?  

6) It appears that both the Xfinity app and the website from the Xfinity servers response does not think I have Xumo service or a Xumo TV Streaming box as this is what it shows:

Under the "TV & Streaming" section, it is supposed to have a link or show how many Flex/Xumo TV Streaming boxes there are on my account but it doesn't but when I click on "Troubleshoot TV issues", it opens up Xfinity Assistant which shows:


As for the website, under the "TV & Streaming" section:

Under the "Your plan", "Equipment" section, it does show "1 Streaming TV Box" and when I click on the "Manage TV equipment" link on the right hand side, which goes to the URL:

I had talked to representatives in Live Chat between December 18, 2023 and December 28, 2023 who can confirm they can see the box and everything looks good including the Xumo Order had been completed on December 21, 2023.  They did open CR122 696 613 for the above issue but the ticket was marked as resolved exactly one hour after it was opened and the only thing mentioned was they suggested a truck roll which is not needed as the service is working but the Xfinity servers appear to think otherwise.

Is Xumo supposed to show up on my billing statement as there is no Xumo mentioned on my January 10, 2024 billing statement?
