Why can’t I log into my starz account on flex?

I have a Starz account already. Why can’t I log into it on Xfinity flex?

@user_e5bdbcThank you for reaching out via our Xfinity Forums.To watch Starz on your Xfintiy Flex box, you would need to unsubscribe to your existing Starz and order it through the box itself. When you subscribe through Flex, you also get access to Starz, StarzEncore, StarzEncore Action, StarzEncore Black and StarzEncore Westerns channels. You will also get OnDemand content through the Xfinity Stream app. Just search with your voice remote for Starz to locate the app and sign in once you are ready.

@XfinityChristy​ That does not answer WHY I cannot log into my own Starz account. I'm thinking it's just Xfinity being shady and trying to squeeze more money out of it's subscribers as usual. I already have a Starz account at a cheaper price. Why would I cancel that and pay more for a subscription with Xfinity? That makes no sense.  I'll just watch on my Fire Stick, thanks.

I am sorry, but you can not use your current Starz account with your Flex box because it is not an option with the set-up. You must unsubscribe to your existing Starz and order it through the box itself. When your current promotion for Starz ends it is currently $8.99 with Xfinity.
