Using On-screen configuration for Flex X15 remote

Trying to use the on-screen process to configure Flex remote to control my TV & AV receiver.

I pull up the menu and get to the point where it's asking for my TV brand. I enter the full name and it just sits at "Load more brands...".  It appears this "app" is broken and the best I've gotten from chat support is they want to send me a new remote.

Does anyone have a current list of codes for Sumsung TVs?  I've tried a list found on the web and the best I've found so far will power up/down but no channel control.  I was hoping the online system would have more choices, but I can't get there.

Flex does not offer channel control support.  You can use the XR15 remote to navigate through the interface and control your tv power and volume control.

Although that sounds really bad to put out a remote with a channel change button to not change channels.  However, the issue is the on-screen process is NOT working.  Not being able to select the brand of the TV pretty much makes the process broken.

Samsung should be the first brand listed when the brand selection page loads.   You shouldn't have to type it in.    These codes are available on Samsung's support site.

  1. Press and hold the xfinity and Mute buttons together for five seconds until the light at the top changes from red to green.
  2. Type the first five-digit code for the TV manufacturer.
    • If the remote light blinks green twice, the code is correct.
    • If the remote light blinks red then green, the code is incorrect.
  3. Aim the remote at the TV, and press the Power button.
    • If the TV turns off, turn the TV back on and make sure the Volume and Mute buttons work.
    • If the TV doesn't turn off, try the next code.

Samsung Universal Remote control codes 5 Digits 11632, 10650, 10702, 10814, 10060, 12051, 10032, 10329, 10056, 11060, 10030, 10178, 10587, 10217, 10766, 13993, 10812, 10482, 10408, 11575

Thank you for the list of Samsung codes.  This however does not address the problem with the on-screen process not working.  Is there anyone at Comcast intersted in addressing that issue?

We are aware of the issue and will be addressing it in an upcoming release.

Thank you, this response makes more sense given the original message.  Ignoring the problem does not make it go away.
