Range extender needed

We have periodically been experiencing buffering and dead spots in our house. This problem can easily be solved by providing the free range extender as promised with the plan we purchased. Unfortunately, Xfinity claims their test shows no problem. 

Well the problem exists and we're being asked to live with it. We are paying for services that we are not receiving. Is anyone else experiencing similar issues?
