Picture and sound pause with sound bar operating

Using brand new tv, brand new sound bar and brand new flex box. When using tv speakers and flex there are no issues. When using apps (YouTube)or streaming service (Netflix/Disney)and sound bar no issues. When using flex and sound bar, picture and sound pause or freeze for 1-5 seconds, constantly (every 1-10 minutes, it varies, but often when going to commercial or major scene change). This happens if soundbar is connected via Bluetooth or hdmi (have not tried optical audio cable yet). Wi-Fi connection on flex is showing as Excellent. Issue is only when Samsung soundbar and xfinity are being used at same time. Have swapped hdmi cable, but again, xfinity works with tv speakers and apps/streaming work with soundbar.
