Pause internet option via Xfinity app disappears for flex device.
When I first hook up the flex box via Ethernet to my router the Xfinity app recognizes the flex box and allows me to pause the device from the internet.
Then after the device spends a few minutes online, that pause option on the app just disappears.
The only way to get the pause internet option back on the Xfinity app is to forget the flex box on my router, then reconnect it manually via Ethernet and like magic the pause internet on device option is back … like magic after a few minutes of the flex device being online the pause internet option is gone again.
So why would the pause option be there and function properly then suddenly disappear?
I’ve read Xfinity employees comments saying a flex box can’t pause, but mine does for a short while then magically disappears?
Can someone explain this or tell me how to fix this?

Hi @user_366742! Thank you for visiting us on the Xfinity Forums for help with the Flex box. The Flex does work in sync with the modem, so this is why it's not able to be paused, and you'll see it disappear from the app. I'm sorry for any inconvenience!
