Netflix won't load on flex

I can't get Netflix to load on my new flex. It begins to load, then has a spinning circle for about 30 seconds and then an error message saying it could not reach the DNS server and will try again in 30 seconds.  All the other streaming services work fine and the signal strength on my wifi is excellent.

are you using comcast's dns servers or some other?

I am having the same issue. Netflix used to work but now when I try to open it, it gives an error saying that it could not connect (error code: NW-2-4) but all of the other apps stream and connect to the internet fine. Problem persists after resetting Netflix app, after setting flex, and after restarting modem and router.

I have the same issue and yes I am using Comcast DNS servers.

Same issue for days now. I’ve reset box, reset Netflix, but it’s the only app that won’t run.

I just got Flex 2 weeks ago, and haven't been able to use Netflix at all, even to sign in. The app crashes everytime I open it. After visiting the forum, I noticed this has been an ongoing issue for customers since November 2019. How has this not been fixed?? I tried restarting the app, the Flex, my modem, unplugging, etc. There was even an option on the flex under Help> Troubleshooting> Reset Netflix> Restart Netflix which says "Resolve common app launch issues." This does nothing. I've tried multiple times and restarting the Flex. It's obvious that Xfinity is aware, so it should be fixed by now.

Wow, no wonder Comcast is giving these boxes away.  They are useless.  No integration with Comcast TV and Netflix won't even launch.  What a waste of time.

I just got a brand new flex box and installed it last night Jan 30, 2021. Same problem. Netflix will not even open, the starting screen pops up and then it just goes back to the flex home screen every time. Can someone from xfinity please respond or attend to this? Has anyone called customer service and gotten anywhere?

Looks to me like Xfinity provides garbage products. Same thing happening to me. As far as I'm concerned, this is an omen to never get another Xfinity service (phone, TV, etc). I'll certainly be looking for an alternative to my internet after seeing so many people have this problem. Just sad.
