Intermittent connectivity with Flex

I recently received a Flex streaming box. I have constant connectivity issues when I try to use it. This is in the bedroom so we don’t play it often. I tried using it the other day after close to a week of not using it. I could not get a connection. I called and CS reset it. It worked for about 15 minutes. I shut off the tv, and tried it again 3 days later. It keeps dropping internet, but I’m showing 75mb download speed in this room. I hooked up a Roku from another room with no problems. I then grabbed a fire stick. Again I had no problem. I put the Flex back on it, and it’s actually froze again. No error code this time. If I hit the back button or home. I bet it gives me rdk-03117.( I think that’s the right code) I didn’t call because all CS ever wants to do us reset my equipment, and get the kids all upset because they’re tv and games are gone for 10-15 minutes. I have a Motorola modem and a Linksys mesh system with (gig)speed service.

Follow up, I tried to use this tv again tonight, but it gave me an ent-22010 code when I tried to go to the Home Screen after the screensaver showed full bars of connectivity. The Roku still works in this room. I don’t want to use this box anywhere else because the other tvs have to be reliable. Can I switch this out for another? Maybe it’s a bad one? The Roku belongs to one of the kids rooms.

Hello @user_4d13c3, and thank you for reaching out with your Flex box concern. We could certainly send a replacement if that is needed, but I want to make sure all troubleshooting was completed if that is okay.

Can you send us a private message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
