I already have a subscription

I'm trying to watch something on amc+ through the app on xfinity but I keep getting a message that I need to subscribe to amc+ and to go to xfinity.com/upgrade to subscribe...... problem with that is, I already have an $8.99 subscription with xfinity for amc+. I've talked to two people in customer service and all they are suggesting is restarting the box. That's been done numerous times but I still can't view the show through the app that I'm paying for!!!!
