help with xumo box remote

i don't understand the use of three of the buttons on the xumo box remote. is there a diagram or written explanation of the remote?

Sort of. See https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/get-to-know-voice-remote and https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/remote-controls.

The ">||" button is Play/Pause. The "+" button is described as "to easily add content to your Xumo Stream Box profile" and as "Add the selected TV show or movie to My List". The "..." button is described as "See more options, including closed captions and voice guidance".

thank you, that was a help. i also talked to an xfinity person via chat and got more questions answered. i really think the documentation could be a whole lot better!

it's just not that good of a remote. and there's very little documentation for it. what do you mean the number buttons can be used for channels? overall not that thrilled with xumo.

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it
