https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-flex-faqs says:

Can I watch live TV?

Broadcast TV (e.g., NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX) and cable networks (e.g., CNN, ESPN and HGTV) are not included with Xfinity Flex. If you'd like to watch live TV, plus gain access to Cloud DVR to record shows, as well as an On Demand library with over 100,000 movies and shows, you can upgrade to Choice TV with Xfinity Flex right from your Flex streaming box.

Hello, @user_1763d4. While the Flex service alone does not offer local channels, it does offer a Local Now app which grants access to videos for local news. You can find out more on Local Now app by visiting here. The Flex box is a streaming device that grants access to select apps. You can find out what apps are offered through the Flex services by visiting here. We also offer our Choice TV Select which allows you to upgrade to a package that includes a channel lineup, including our Basic lineup which includes local channels. If you're interesting in signing up for Choice TV Select, please follow the steps listed here and check out the available content.

I no longer work for Comcast.
