flex remote control

I got this tiny control with flex. No numeric pad. So I can't enter my phone # to start. And no fast fwd/back/play buttons???

I see pictures of a full control in flex videos, but not what I have?

Do other users get a real control?

I found how to enter numbers by using up/down on the navigation button. Also, that button works for fwd/back/play while watching something. That's nice.

But, I think flex is far from free. I tried to watch CNN and was taken to a place to sign up for an app at $39/month. No thanks. Sending it back.
