Flex parental control lock app issues

I just exchanged my flex box because the old one was having issues and shutting off. My new box is giving me a different kind of problem. I’ll put the parental controls on and unlocked the apps that I want to be able to allow my family to use. However even the unlocked apps are asking for a parental control password. I have tried to reset the parental controls I have tried to unlock and lock again all of the apps and have had no success at being able to use parental controls with also being able to have open apps accessible to everyone without a pin.

Hi there, @user_639c5e, thank you for taking the time to post on our Xfinity Forums. I appreciate you letting us know the issues you are facing with you new Flex box. Please rest assure you have reached the right team! When creating the Parental Control settings did you turn on any ratings lock?
