Flex does not turn on

I’ve been having issues with my flex where it will not turn on at all. There is no light on the box when I plug it in. I’ve tried troubleshooting it and it does the same thing. The control is on, just the box doesn’t give me an indication that it’s even on. Did I get a dud?
