Flex box screen going black

When watching on a streaming service app, my screen goes black for 5-10 seconds and goes back to the Home Screen. I have unplugged the device and Re plugged in the cables, and have no internet issues. This happens 1-2 times per hour and is extremely frustrating. Is there a fix for this yet? I see many other people posting about this issue

Hi, @user_8dfcb9, may I ask if you've already tried resetting the Flex box? Here's the best way to do so:

  • Ensure the device is currently powered on
  • 2. Press the ‘POWER’ and ‘MENU’ buttons on your remote at the same time
  • 3. Press BOTH the UP and DOWN arrow buttons on your remote, then Select ‘Restore Defaults’ option
  • 4. Press ‘OK’ – this should cycle the equipment to perform a factory reset
