Flex Box Remote
Rec'd new Xumo remote with upgraded 'flex box'. It's supposed to be a universal remote, but it won't connect to anything in this universe including the box with which it arrived.
Spent over an hour in chat with about 4 different agents who assured me that they could fix the issue--and they really did try--but no success. Spent some quality time with Google and at least there was a video showing how to access the battery box, but there was absolutely NOTHING to explain the remote buttons or show how to pair it with the box, television, or anything else remotely electronic.
Tried the Xfinity site and found at least one other person who wanted to know what the buttons were. There was a response directing readers to a page on Xfinity that explained the remote and button functions, but the page was deleted. Thanks.
It would have been nice to get at least a small document explaining how that remote is supposed to work or even what the buttons are supposed to do. If anyone knows, it would be very helpful.
