Unable to play video 

error:valid token required 

Was under impression when first got xumo device I would have no problem streaming this sports app. Seems I’ve wasted numerous hours just trying to get my espn app to run. It’s been a week and I’m ready to throw in the towel!

Thank you for reaching out about the ESPN app on the Xfinity Xumo Stream box, user_z2fobm! I am sorry to hear that has been giving you trouble. That should work without issues. We are happy to help get to the bottom of this. Have you tried to clear the locally stored data in the box? This could be from a cookie stored on the device. 

  1. Press the home button on your remote.
  2. Navigate to Settings by selecting the settings icon from the home screen or saying “Settings” into your Voice Remote.
  3. Select Settings again.

  4. Select System management.

  5. Scroll down to Resets and updates.

  6. Select Locally stored data.

  7. Select Yes, clear now.
    The screen asks if you want to clear local storage. The two options presented are Yes, clear now, or No, cancel, in that order from left to right. Screenshot.
