Change timezones on Flex?

I turned my Flex box on today and noticed the time displayed is way off (hours out of sync with the time zone I live in). I checked to make sure that it was my account details and that I didn't get logged out or something - everything was fine.

I checked in the hardware settings and you can change if you use a 12 or 24 hr clock, but you can't actually change the time zone. Did I miss a section on where you can actually change the time zone?

Same here. Literally 30 minutes on a call I thought would (should) take 5 minutes with a guy who said he was the one who could help me. 30 minutes later I hung up in frustration. This can’t be that difficult, for crying out loud!! Give us the option to select our time zone like 99% of other UI’s that display a clock!

I'm Minnesota and mine is still an hour off....they must have everyone's set to EST.

Mine is showing 3 hours ahead.  Are there any comcast employees here or are we just talking to each other?

Same here. A few days ago noticed the time is showing ET and I'm MT. No way to  change it!

In CO. Same: Time zone on EST. Affects Sling's time listing in its guide.

Just for reference:

Comcast Sales 2019: $108.9 billion

Total Assests 2019: $263 billion

Net Income 2019: $13 billion

Time zone display on Flex box regardless of time zone you live in 2020: Eastern

It's evident the staff ignores the forum which is unfortunate since its where problems are posted. As an Internet only customer, I'm also disapointed in the latest Flex streaming box firmware update that removed the Free TV and Movie filters. Makes navigating the category impossible. The good news is "Limetown" on Peacock is a great series!

I also have the same exact issue. It happened probably a couple months ago. It’s about 3 hours ahead, meaning it’s in EST, rather than PST, Washington’s time zone. This messes with the update/reboot schedule that is set and also keeps scaring me that I’m late for whatever when I look at the time.

When I turned on my system last night, the time zone was correct and along the top row at the right was a Settings app I hadn't seen before. There ARE some glitches in the new firmware though. Sometimes the screen saver comes on while streaming and after several hours, a power management notice pops on. While the Flex box works fairly well, there are definitely bugs.

Hooray! They fixed it! Unfortunate that they never acknowledged that it was broken.

AHA I FOUND IT! ive been struggling for ever. Anywho here do this,
Settings > preference > general> daily update time> And change the time for a daily update. I used 8-10am and it now says the correct time
