Can’t set up Flex box
Was sent a Flex box when I started my internet service. Started the set up process, chose the option to get a code texted to me to set the box up. Enter the code and it loads and then gives me an error. It says there is information missing from my account. I also tried the second set up option of entering in my information on the account including my full account number. It again gave me the same error and reason. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue or knows how to resolve it. Tried “chatting” with Xfinity but that gets me no where.

What’s the error code? If it’s Xre-251 it means the device is not on the account properly and an agent needs to add it before trying again. If it’s Xre-10000 it means your account is missing the flex service codes and an agent needs to add it before trying again.

To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
