you can try, but I don't think it will work since the remote requires an IR signal to pair it with the box.

No, it requires HDMI to TV or Monitor. Bluetooth is only supported with audio devices (wireless headphones).

I don't have a tv just a laptop. Can I use flex on the laptop? Can I set it up to run bluetooth to ipads?
