Apps don't load on FLEx

I just got a flex box  and can get to the home screen and apps front page but every time I try to stream any movie or episode all I get is the spinning circle.

I've tried every troubleshooting method I could think of. 

Maybe it's the Flex box.  The white power light is on.  I tried to reset it to factory default by pressing the bottom WPS button but nothing happened.  Should there be any other light on the Flex on?  I thought I saw a quick green light on the front box once.

Any help appreciated before I throw the Flex right out the window followed by myself.😄

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
