Yesterday morning, one month's worth of my emails just disappeared, and Xfinity refuses to restore them

Yesterday morning, one month's worth of my emails just disappeared, from both my Inbox and Sent folders.  And my emails from 2/14/2023 were marked as unread.  The state of my emails looked as it did 30 days ago.  I have chatted with 4 support techs, and have had phone conversations with 2 techs at CSA, to no avail.  Over the course of 12 hours, all they did was restore a few  deleted emails from 2/14.  They said they "have exhausted all the options" and that my hundreds of missing emails might be "missing from the server."  I asked if there was a backup.  They said yes, but would not be able to restore my hundreds of missing emails.  Then they said they had to hang up because they were getting "system errors."  So they gave up.  This exact same situation has happened to other people on this forum.

OK, I just checked my email again.  It took them 27 hours to fix it.  I don't know if it was something that tech support did, or if Xfinity just fixed whatever issue they were having.  I'm glad my emails are back, but still miffed with having been stonewalled by tech support for 12 hours.  Time to switch to gmail.
