You don't need an email. Instead, log in to https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/emailMigration. If the account you logged in with is ready to be migrated, that page will say:

You're invited to upgrade your email account to Yahoo Mail ...

If the ID has already been migrated, the page will say:

Your Comcast.net email account is accessible at Yahoo Mail ...

If your email is not ready to be migrated and the page does not say "You're invited to upgrade ...", I'd imagine they just haven't got around to you yet. Or something is badly broken . . .

I don't recommend migrating. Comcast/Xfinity has recently changed their stance from "required" to "optional, for now". A number of posters who migrated have said they regretted doing so.

Information on the Yahoo migration can be found at https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-overview, https://help.yahoo.com/kb/new-yahoo-mail/SLN36803.html. and https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-safety.

Comcast/Xfinity email migration to Yahoo is a huge headache. I haven’t received any notification this would be done, there are 0 support options that actually provide any support.

So what now?

How can I check?? My Comcast email on my iPhone doesn’t work and when I log into my account over the web I always get stuck in the never ending loop of signing in.

Do you have a computer were you can try? May I have you try to click on this link for Xfinity email. Go to your inbox and you should have an invitation if you are part of the migration selection.

Doesn’t Comcast keep track of who receives these or not? I cannot log into my account because I’m stuck in a loop to enter my password and verify identity.

I already received my invitation. My family had 5 Comcast email addresses. We received an invitation that included 3 of those addresses. We have migrated 2 of them but the third one, which was most definitely an active account that was being used daily and had never stopped being used, won't migrate, actually it's not that it will not migrate necessarily, it may be that Xfinity cannot verify the account. I thought Xfinity could not verify it because there was never a backup email address or a mobile phone number entered but then I realized that I had finally entered those pieces of information when asked. Of course, when attempting to use them, I didn't really know for sure at a login page which "email address" Xfinity was asking for but I used the original Comcast address with it's corresponding password (which I suspected could possibly be incorrect although it had been recorded) AND the back-up email address with it's password and/or the mobile phone number that had finally been added to the account. None of these permutations worked to allow a login in order to use the Yahoo! Mail migration tool. Remember all of these "accounts" were initially from one Comcast account with "managed" addresses for family members - so confusing after the decades that we were customers and then permitted to keep the email addresses. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Sorry for such a long comment. Basically the migration process was very easy for two of the addresses. It really was click the link and follow the prompts (which I couldn't believe at first read). However, there are some accounts that are problematic. Not being able to sign in is obviously a huge problem because nothing can be done about that. Comcast accounts are not supported and appear to be unrecognized by Xfinity at this point.
