Can I do yahoo migration before official email notification?
It's not clear that you will actually get one. I've had 4 addresses migrated to Yahoo, and did not receive a notification email for any of them. But you don't need the email. You can check the status of your email address by logging in to https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/emailMigration. If the account you logged in with is ready to be migrated, that page will say:
You're invited to upgrade your email account to Yahoo Mail ...
If the ID has already been migrated, the page will say:
Your Comcast.net email account is accessible at Yahoo Mail ...
(I'm not sure what that page will say if your email is NOT ready to be migrated. It might just redirect to the webmail page.)
The contents of all your folders count against your quota, even the contents of Trash count against it. If you deleted messages but didn't empty the Trash folder, you still won't be under quota. You need to empty the Trash folder.
