yahoo merger

I read that there is no deadline for merging from Xfinity to Yahoo. Is this true?  This is a pain [Edited: "Language"]. We pay lots of money for Xfinity email and now they want to destroy the platform.  Can I keep my Xfinity platform, folders, and emails they way it is? If I do, will I lose anything?

@user_a64c62 The service was, and for those that still have Comcast emails it is free. We've never sold an email service, and no one pays for Comcast email service. Comcast internet customers can also upgrade to Yahoo Mail for a better experience, at no extra cost. We're no longer offering new email accounts, and the deadline was removed for now. With that we recommend upgrading to the better email platform to avoid any issues accessing or sending emails in the future.
