Yahoo Mail error message No Internet Connection
I have an issue with Yahoo Mail. I keep getting a message that there is no internet connection
but the internet is just fine. Yahoo Support told me they think it is an Xfinity issue. Any suggestions?

I've been doing quite a lot with Yahoo today, and I'm still not able to duplicate the issue you have.
I dunno-------------🤔

Unfortunately resetting the network adapter didn't resolve the issue. At the risk of sounding "like a broken record" the issue seems to be intermittent, happening about 75% of the time (meaning with 25% successful access to Yahoo sites).
I see there are also other threads in the forum on this topic. I eagerly wait for someone from Comcast who can analyze a traceroute, or whatever other diagnostic / corrective tool they chose.

I am having the same issue. I've tried different browsers. I've tried clearing the site information. It still says no internet connection intermittently on the Yahoo mail site. No other websites seem to be impacted.

I'm having the identical problem with Yahoo and xfinity. It's been persistent for over a month. I have no issues with Yahoo on my ipad or iphone, nor have any such problem with Gmail or other websites using my desktop. It is a problem only with the combination of xfinity and Yahoo.

I'm having the same issue. It started in December, and I cleared my cookies and reset everything. For what it's worth, I traveled the week of December 26 to January 3 and had zero issues...was connected to a different wifi. I also have no issues on my phone. It is only an issue on my computer when connected to Xfinity's wifi. It's soooooooooooooooooooooo frustrating. It even goes out when I'm typing an email, and I can't even send or save it.

Same here, I have this issue half the time with yahoo (dot) com and yahoo mail. Its frustrating to be drafting an email and a "no internet connection" message pop up as you're about to hit send. Makes working from home rather difficult.

I'm having the same problem. Traceroute shows timeouts at the same place.

I tried to use the command prompt to see if I could get the same report. Can you let me know how you did it?

Have you shared this info with the Xfinity help desk?

Timeouts at a particular hop that don't extend to later hops are probably not significant. See https://www.dslreports.com/faq/14068. The device at that location is most likely giving low priority to ping and trace packets and higher priority to actual data packets. If it was dropping data packets you would see high RTT and/or packet loss at all the hops beyond those.

I've been having the same problem. Yahoo mail (att.net) keeps ending my email session after n-hours and gives me the message "no internet connection". As you point out, the internet connection is still good because other web sites are working fine.
When Yahoo kicks me off, I have to clear my cookies from Yahoo and then it takes me back to the login screen. Now it has gotten even worse. When I try to login it won't accept my password. The only way that I found to get around it is to select "forgot password" and get a password reset code sent to my cell phone and then use the code to reset my password. What doesn't make sense is that I reset my password to the SAME password that I have always used and then I can get back in to my email. What also really stinks is that I have to re-enter that password in my iphone email login as well to get my email on my iphone.
This is really a mess and it seems to have started a month or two ago.
Anyone who can offer a suggestion to fix this will be greatly appreciated.

Well, this thread has quite a lot of people posting they are having similar issues. Also, there are almost 2000 views, far more than any other thread from this time period. This leads me to believe that many, many people are experiencing this issue and doing a google search looking for a solution.
Do anyone have any idea how to get someone from Comcast / Xfinity to review this thread? I do not think making a call to the general 800 support line and speaking to a first-line tech will be a fruitful experience.

I have been having the same problem as described above. I am working on a Dell laptop. My husband is on a desktop Dell computer, right beside me and on the same wi-fi network. He does not have the problem at all. This has been going on for weeks and "no internet connection" continuously pops up when I believe I finally have access to email. Please provide a soution that will resolve the problem!

I wish my Yahoo mail would fail once a day. It happens to me all day long. What I need to do is close the Yahoo Mail folder and then log into Yahoo and then click on mail. Most of the time this works but it's a pain in the butt.
