Xfinity Webmail Delete Function Freezes in Firefox (Works in Edge)
I’m reporting a reproducible issue with Xfinity Webmail when using Firefox on Windows.
When I try to delete an email, the message turns grey and the delete action never completes. The UI freezes in this greyed‑out state until it eventually resets. The email does not delete.
This issue happens:
- On multiple Windows 11 devices
- In Firefox (latest version)
- With clean profiles and no extensions
- With default privacy settings
- Even after clearing cache/cookies
The problem does not happen in:
- Microsoft Edge (delete works instantly)

- Mobile devices (delete works normally)
This confirms the issue is specific to Xfinity’s desktop webmail interface in Firefox.
Steps to reproduce:
- Log into Xfinity Webmail using Firefox
- Select any email
- Click Delete
- Email greys out and never deletes
Please escalate this to the email engineering team. This is a consistent, reproducible compatibility issue between Xfinity Webmail and Firefox.
