Xfinity connect says sent, but it’s not received

I cannot send emails. They show up as sent but are not received. this happens using xfinity connect on iPhone and iPad and it fails on both. If I use safari to connect, it works, as do browsers on window pcs. I've found forum articles that others have had this problem recently. HELP please. Is Comcast having a problem or has something changed?
