When I create a new email, the default font is 11 point Verdana. I want Times New Roman 14. How do I change this default without always having to manually doing so prior to creating my email?

Click the gear icon in the upper right and choose Email Settings. Then click Compose on the right.
Didn't work. It was already Times New Roman 14 point.
When I "compose" a new email, the top line is always 11 point Verdana. If I click enter to go down a line, then it's back to Times New Roman 14. Why would the top line of a new email default to Verdana when in the settings section, as you suggest, it's already listed as Times New Roman 14 as the supposed default? Thoughts? Thanks.
