If you want to keep using your @comcast.net email, use a third party email app like @XfinityThomasB mentioned.  While you can use Outlook, I recommend using Thunderbird.  There are no ads!  If you happen to use Firefox as your browser, Thunderbird is created by the same company, Mozilla.

Unfortunately, once you've moved to Yahoo! Mail there is no going back to Xfinity.  You can always ditch your @comcast.net email address and move to another service.

user_p4d99w Unfortunately, there is not an option to go back to Xfinity email once you have fully transitioned.

user_p4d99w Very sorry that you are not having a good experience with the Yahoo system. You can always use an email client on your device to interface with the email, something like Outlook.

user_p4d99w Awesome! Other than the email, how are your other services meeting your needs? We have some pretty awesome new internet options, and also our Xfinity Mobile services, just as a heads-up 😀👍

I know, I used to use Xfinity internet before we moved, and unfortunately there is no Xfinity support in our area.

I also hate the move and want to move back.  When on a public computer you can not open attachments like I could on Xfinity.  Yahoo [Edited: "Language"] and simply does not work for my needs.  Thanks Xfinity for this horrible experience.

I have the same awful opinion of the Yahoo Mail downgrade. I have been an Xfinity customer since they were Adelphia ( probably almost 40 years) This is the first time they have let me down. I want my Comcast.net back again!!!!

Yahoo [Edited: "Language"]! Wish I had never switched. It's a scam. Attack of the adds that you cannot identify as spam unless you pay $5 @ month.

Right to the point! Moving me to yahoo email without warning was despicable! We were sold out by the Xfinity/Comcast Corpos for more money. And you will never see any of that money applied to reducing your service fees. Comcast email was perfect the way it was originally! I hate, yes hate Yahoo email! Saying don't like the ads, then pay us five bucks a month! Freaking extortion! Being in a rural area Xfinity/Comcast (cable) is the only provider in my area. Someday, I hope soon, a new provider comes to my area, and I can kick Xfinity/Comcast to the curb. Boo to you Xfinity/Comcast!

I fully agree with you. Yahoo e-mail is terrible wish that I never changed. I have been a customer for 40 years.  Did no even get a chance to see the format before change.  Will not give extra $5.00 a month for no adds.  Simply ridicules.

I am really upset about the switch to yahoo. I already have a yahoo mail account. My comcast account is for personal business. I have trusted it for years and my research says having two yahoo accounts on the same browser is not a good idea. I haven't switched my comcast to yahoo and do not want to because of the potential for security breaches and confusion between the two email accounts. I don't understand why Xfinity would switch to such an unreliable email service as yahoo. Is there any chance that we will be able to keep our comcast email accounts if we haven't switched or will Xfinity just force the issue. If the latter I will shut down this account completely and go to gmail. Maybe get rid or Xfinity all together!
