Will I recieve a notification *BY EMAIL* when it is time for me to migrate my Comcast.net email to Yahoo?

The Xfinity information page about the transition uses phrases such as "you’ll see a prompt to accept Yahoo’s terms of service."  Does "you'll see" specifically mean I will receive *an email* prompting me to accept the terms of service?

Or is there an expectation that I will see that prompt when I log into current Xfinity email website, or another Xfinity web portal or app?  Understanding this would be very important to me because I normally access my Comcast.net email via Outlook, which means I don't even see the Xfinity email site.  (I check once in awhile for email that's gone to spam, but that happens very infrequently.)

Bottom line, please answer the question in the subject line.  Thanks.

You don't need an email. Instead, log in to https://xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net/emailMigration. If the account you logged in with is ready to be migrated, that page will say:

You're invited to upgrade your email account to Yahoo Mail ...

If the ID has already been migrated, the page will say:

Your Comcast.net email account is accessible at Yahoo Mail ...

Please understand that I'm not trying to expedite the transition timeline.  In fact, more the opposite.  I have more than a few Comcast.net accounts (primary and secondary), and I'll have to re-do the Outlook settings for all of them to conform to the Yahoo requirements, including creating the Yahoo 3rd-party-app passwords.  And I'm going through a very busy period now.

So again, my question is whether I will receive an official *email* from Xfinity for each account when it's time to complete the transition for that account.

Great question @Dennis25!  You'll see the prompt when you securely sign in to your email at connect.xfinity.com.

Thanks @XfinityAlyssaA .  As I said, I don't often view my email at connect.xfinity.com, since I have 7 comcast.net addresses (1 primary and 6 secondary), and I normally view them through MS Outlook.

So what I want to know is, if I happen to miss the prompt for one or more of the accounts, will I receive emailed warning(s) from Xfinity before losing access to my emails for that account(s)?

On 8-25-28 I received an "Important Update" email from Xfinity at my primary address stating:

"...you’ll receive another email that will prompt you to sign into xfinityconnect.email.comcast.net to accept Yahoo’s terms of service and complete your move to the Yahoo Mail platform. You’ll have 120 days to accept the terms."  (Formatting mine.)

Yet all the responses I've looked at here, including yours, seem to suggest a need to proactively log into the online portal rather than being able to wait for another email.  If true, that contradicts the email Xfinity sent me this summer.  Regardless of what I might or might not see on the portal, the notice I got in August has an assurance the 120-day countdown clock won't start until I receive that second email from you.

Sorry to belabor the point, but I can't seem to get a straight answer on this...

Completely understandable @Dennis25! In addition to the proactive method mentioned above, you should also receive a notification as mentioned in that email you received earlier this year. Invitations will roll out gradually through 2026, and when the time comes, you’ll see yours in your inbox.

Thanks for the clear reply, @XfinityAldrik !  (I'd like to mark it as the Accepted Answer, but I don't see that option offered for any response except the first.  Please mark it for me if there's a way to do so.)
