Why is my forwarding email to rejected by Xfinity?
I got a phishing email that looked like a PayPal invoice, but it was not from PayPal and I did not purchase what they were selling. I tried several times to Forward the email to PayPal and got the following message.
Message could not be sent to the following recipients: ["[Edited: "Personal Information"]" <[Edited: "Personal Information"]>] (554 - 554 5.2.0 https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/limitations-on-sending-email/

This is not the first time I have forwarded spam/phishing emails to PayPal. I also do it for Amazon and several other businesses.
I have played around with this a little and it appears that I am unable to forward almost anything. I tried forwarding another email to myself. It got rejected. I tried forwarding it to my Gmail account and it got rejected.
Is their a new bug in the system????????????
I have good news.
I forgot about an old computer fix. Turn the computer off and back on.
That appeared to fix my problem. I tested it several ways and I had not problems.
