Why does Xfinity keep censoring my emails?

I get a lot of phishing emails that I need to report to the hosting servers.

For example, Survey Monkey and Wix are hosting the latest spate.

[Removed Malicious Links]
But Xfinity always blocks me with these 'non-delivery report' emails. !!!!! Why are they censoring these important reports?
And the irony???? Most of these scams are PRETENDING TO BE XFINITY OR COMCAST!
Very frustrating!!!!

This is now happening with my normal recipients. It is very frustrating. People I email back and forth normally are getting blocked.

This automation stuff is terrible.... how does it think my response to a client is 'spam'?

AWFUL

Hi there @MacLady Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum about blocked emails, I'll be happy to assist. When you say normal recipients, do they have comcast email addresses as well?  Please click the link below for more information on blocked emails.

These are emails I am sending to registrars and hosts, requesting a take down for spoofing, spamming and phishing.

Xfinity just decides they won't deliver them.. very frustrating. It comes in the form of a 'non-delivery' message.

And now they've blocked my email from some regular people who I email back and forth with  for no apparent reason.

They need to hire a real person to do this job....

By responding in any fashion to SPAM emails, or even clicking on unsubscribe, tells them that your email is active, and results in far more spam email.  You are bringing it on yourself.

Did you read what I posted? I do not ever respond to the spam itself or click unsubscribe if there even is such a link, which usually there isn't. I am reporting the site that is usually spoofing and phishing for Xfinity logins, so that it may be taken down by the registrar and hosting company. These are not mailing lists...

I know you don't figure anyone knows how to do this, but here we are. I have had many sites taken down. You should hire me. I used to crack scammers on AOL.

Now they are censoring email to people I email with frequently, friends, colleagues, and important contacts. How to stop this ridiculousness?

Exactly whom is censoring email to people you email with frequently?  How do you know you're being censored?

Because you get a nice automated email from Comcast that says Xfinity NON DELIVERY REPORT, that's how you know.

It's getting tiresome. My email is becoming unusable.

Maybe it's time to find another email provider like GMail.

Of course,  you are aware that you might have to migrate to Yahoo at some point and there is no help there unless you pay for it.  Finding another email server might be better now, especially since you seem to have so many problems.

Excuse me, but if Comcast customers who PAY for their emails are denied help at Yahoo, that's bad. I assume we WILL be able to get help with email issues? I hope some admin will answer this. The address remains the same.

I cannot change email I've had associated with dozens of accounts over a period of 35 years. Sorry.

Actually no, you won't be able to get help from here, and I haven't heard too many people rave about getting help there unless you pay for it.

And email here was never a line item on your billing statement.  It has been just a service Comcast provided.  Many ISP's are sending their email customers to Yahoo! Mail, like recently Cox and Spectrum.  Using Gmail you can import all your contacts and email.  Now, I don't know if that makes the comcast.net account separate or what because I have never had the need to use it.  This is from the help section.  I think, however, you would need to have a gmail address in order to do this.

Add another email account on your computer

Important: We're making changes to Gmailify and POP support. Learn about upcoming changes to Gmailify and POP support in Gmail.

In a web browser, at mail.google.com, you can add:

  • Another Gmail account.
  • A non-Gmail account like Yahoo or iCloud Mail.

You can add up to 5 email addresses to your Gmail account.

In the Gmail app, you can also add another email account. However, you can't add accounts like Exchange and Post Office Protocol (POP). Learn how to add an account in the Gmail app.

Before you begin

  • You can’t connect email accounts that don’t support secure connections.
  • You can import messages from another email account, but not any folders or labels.
  • Your other email account needs to have POP access. If you’re not sure, check your other email account’s settings menu.
  • You can’t add an Outlook account to Gmail on your computer. To connect to Outlook, Microsoft now requires non-Microsoft email users to use modern authentication methods.
    • To add an Outlook account to Gmail, use the Gmail app.

On another note, it sounds as though you have been using residential email for business purposes, and that's not what residential is for.  Going back to Gmail you might want to check into Google Workspace, which really might suit you far better.  Yes, it's a paid service but you get help for problems that we can't provide, apparently.

We have tried to help you but you seem to know more than we do; we told you what not to do and the consequences of continuing to do it; and you keep bringing up AOL which doesn't matter here as that's then and this is here now.  Honestly, I don't know how we can help you if you don't "listen" to us and take our advice.  If you were a business customer you might have gotten different help, I don't know, but instead we give you suggestions and you act like we are peons and you know better.  Did you ever send the DM to @XfinityDemetrise at Xfinity Support as requested?  Either you haven't bothered to send a DM as requested by other Employees, or you really don't want help.  Attitude here goes a long way to either getting help or being suspended or banned.

I know I am coming across harshly, but I think a stark reply has been in order.  Welcome back from your suspension.
