Why can't I mark Xfinity spam as spam?

Yes, I have used  "Manage Advertising Preferences" and selected "opt out of everythign" a long time ago. (I just checked and it's still set that way)

But that has not stopped Xfinity from spamming me.

Now I see that I can not even mark Xfinity spam as spam, I can only delete or move it.

Spam is spam even if it's coming from Xfinity!

I don't know what kind of emails you are getting, but using the webmail UI I can mark any Xfinity message as spam using the icon in the toolbar.  How are you accessing your email?

Not all unwanted emails are spam. Emails from Comcast/Xfinity aren't spam because you are their customer. You can unsubscribe from advertising emails, but not the service-related emails.  If you don't want to see the service-related emails, try setting up a filter to send them to Trash.

Spaming me to purchace Peacock or some other service is NOT a service related message.

It is spam plain and clear.

No, Xfinity spam has the "mark as spam" button grayed out in the web interface so you can't report them.
