Why aren't I getting my emails December 2024

I haven't been able to connect with Xfinity as I don't use their internet service.  I used to use them but switched about a year ago.  They said I could keep my email and things were working fine.  I received a message saying I needed to change my password before Dec 15 2024 or I will loose access.  I change my email password but starting yesterday afternoon...no Comcast email.

After hours of using the Chat box to communicate with Xfinity I got to a person who answered my question.  Why aren't I getting my emails?  Answer:  I was hacked by a email that looked like it was from Xfinity saying I needed to change my password by Dec 15 or I will loose my access.

Oh no! We are so sorry to hear you had this happen. Have you been able to reset your password from the Xfinity Email website?

We recommend also checking out and reporting the fake email here:
